The Stripes series is made with the very low-tech materials. Instead of using plates made of copper, zinc or plexiglass the artist uses plates simply made of cardstock, matboard or cardboard. For this series I coated three plates with layers of polyurathane to protect the material. For two of the plates I then glued on strips of paper which were then coated with yet another layer of protectant. The third plate I incised with drypoint lines. Plexiglass plates with drypoint lines are used as well. High resolution, reproduction quality scans of approximately 250 megs each are available for licensing. These files reproduce at 300 dpi up to a size of 30" x 30".
