Recently I have begun working with the very low-tech materials of collagraphs. Instead of using plates made of copper, zinc or plexiglass the artist uses plates simply made of cardstock, matboard or cardboard. For this series I coated three plates with layers of polyurathane to protect the material. For two of the plates I then glued on strips of paper which were then coated with yet another layer of protectant. The third plate I incised with drypoint lines. Plexiglass plates with drypoint lines are used as well.
This gallery features just a small selection of the series. You can see more on my ETSY site 'Stripes' section.
